1. Who this applies to
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to you, everyone in your organization, and every agent running on your instances, including actions agents take on their own.
Not sure whether something is allowed? Ask us at victor@texturehq.com before you do it.
2. Illegal and harmful activity
Don’t use the Service to:
- break the law, or help anyone else break it;

3. Fraud, deception and spam
Don’t use the Service to:
- commit fraud, run scams or phishing, or collect passwords or payment details under false pretenses;
- impersonate a person or organization deceptively, or present an agent as a human in a way that misleads people;
- send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or messages that break anti-spam laws;
- manipulate elections or other democratic processes, including with disinformation, by impersonating candidates or officials, or by interfering with voting;
- scrape or collect data from websites or services in violation of their terms or technical limits.
4. People’s safety and rights
Don’t use the Service to:
- create, store or share child sexual abuse material, or any sexual content involving minors. We report it to the authorities as the law requires;
- harass, bully, threaten, intimidate or stalk anyone, or promote violence or violent extremism;
- surveil or track people unlawfully, or without the notice or consent the law requires;
- make high-impact decisions about people automatically, such as decisions about credit, employment, housing, insurance, education, legal matters or medical care, without review by a qualified person;
- discriminate against people unlawfully.
5. Weapons and military use
Don’t use the Service to:
- develop, produce, acquire or use weapons, including chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear weapons, explosives, or their precursors;
- support military or warfare operations, or identify, select or guide targets for weapons;
- plan or carry out attacks on critical infrastructure, such as power grids, water systems or financial systems.
6. Protecting the Service
Don’t:
- interfere with, disrupt or overload the Service, other customers’ instances, or our providers;
- get around usage limits, spending limits, billing, sign-in or security controls, or use the Service in ways meant to avoid fees;
- access, or try to access, other customers’ instances or data;
- resell, sublicense or share access to the Service, or offer it to others as a service, without our written permission.
7. Other companies’ rules
Your agents use services run by other companies, and you must follow their rules too. In particular, don’t use agents to break the usage policies of the AI model providers whose models they use (such as Anthropic or OpenAI, including through OpenRouter), or the terms of Slack, Modal or any other service you connect.
8. Enforcement
If we believe this policy has been violated, we may, with or without notice:
- investigate, including by reviewing relevant data in your instance;
- remove or disable content, agents or connections;
- suspend or limit your organization, an instance or a managed service, immediately if needed;
- close your account;
- report activity to law enforcement or other authorities, and cooperate with them.
Where it’s practical and safe, we’ll tell you what happened and let you respond. Where the law allows, we won’t refund fees or usage funds when we suspend or close an account for violating this policy.
9. Reporting abuse
To report a violation, a security issue or abuse by a Mesh agent, email victor@texturehq.com with what happened, when, and any links, messages or hostnames (such as name.runmesh.app) involved.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
